A Safe Second may not be your first choice for air sup-ply. But the B2 OCTO could be. Since a conventional Octopus is not used as often as a primary, corrosion could set in and degrade performance. Coming from using the Oceanic Delta reg, I will say that the B2 hands down is magnificent for the money. It is the easiest reg I have ever tried. If you don’t like like a claustrophobic feeling when breathing at depth, then buy this now! I am very pleased with it. When I first used it, I felt like I was breathing too much air, but I wasn’t consuming any more than normal. It was just that easy to breathe through. No free flow to deal with or worry about. Pretty much adjusts itself at the surface or at depth. Very happy customer!
