How it Works
Scuba Heat’s coil mounts onto your tank band in between your first and second stage. As air from the first stage enters the coil, it’s instantly warmed by the surrounding water, then exits the coil toward your second stage. There are no moving parts, batteries or heating elements.

The heat-exchanging coil is made of a special thermally conductive and corrosion-resistant copper nickel alloy that will not reduce air flow or otherwise degrade your regulator performance.

I used my Scuba Heat on an ice dive. Water temp was 35 degrees (Fahrenheit). A bunch of my dive buddies had issues with their regulators freezing causing their second stage to free-flow.
My Scuba Heat performed perfectly! It kept my regulator from freezing and I was able to do 2 dives (7 minutes then 22 minutes) with no issues.

I attend the annual Ice Hole Festival every year in Lake Okoboji as the event photographer, and this year was the first time using the Scuba Heat from Atomic Aquatics. It makes a noticeable difference to the temperature of the gas you are breathing and putting into your drysuit.
