The latest evolution of the Frameless Mask uniquely combines two grades of silicone molded together to create the most comfortable mask in the water. Along with all the features that made the Atomic Aquatics Frameless Mask popular with avid divers who want a wide, clear view, the Frameless 2 is even more comfortable over hours of dive time. A special sealing flange is co-molded with a softer grade of silicone for a soft touch. The Standard, Medium, and Large fits/sizes are perfect for every face shape.

ULTRACLEAR Lenses

All Atomic Aquatics Frameless, Frameless 2, and SubFrame models offer a new standard feature never seen or “seen through” before in a diving mask. We call them UltraClear lenses.

What makes UltraClear special? Did you ever notice that normal dive mask lenses have a green tint to the glass? To see this tint, put your existing mask up to a piece of white paper and see for yourself. The green tint you see is the result of iron impurities left over in lower quality “float” or window type glass. That green tint distorts true colors and blocks out some of the light that reaches the eye.

UltraClear is a new and exciting optical quality glass with exceptional clarity and high light transmission, with no color distortion. The exceptionally high light transmittance and lack of distortion in the UltraClear lens maximizes the light available for improved visual acuity, especially underwater in low light conditions.

My favorite mask for numerous reasons! The Ultraclear glass and softer grade silicone around the skirt leaves no marks on my face after 1hr+ dives, while providing a clear view!

There is nothing about this mask that I don’t like. I have a narrow, difficult-to-fit face and most low-volume masks press high on the bridge of my nose. This one in size medium is an excellent, comfortable fit. The skirt is softer than that of any other mask I own. The “UltraClear” glass isn’t hype. If you try it side-by-side with other masks you will notice significantly more vivid colors.
