The M1 Regulator is engineered using Atomic Aquatics’ proprietary Monel alloy, Alloy R405 Nickel-Copper, designed specifically for marine environments. Monel combines the strength of steel with exceptional corrosion resistance in seawater, making it ideal for components exposed to flammability risks in oxygen-enriched compressed air, such as Nitrox. Following special guidelines, the M1 Regulator can accommodate oxygen mixes up to 80%. Unlike other metals, Monel does not require plating, enhancing its durability and reliability.
