Aquatics Unveils AtomicVision Mask Line; State-of-the-Art
Products Now Shipping
Latest Atomic Aquatics Innovation
will OPEN THE EYES of the dive industry to what true quality
underwater vision should be.
Huntington Beach, CA – Dive retailers around the
world have been eagerly anticipating the release of the
new AtomicVision mask line from Atomic Aquatics. That wait
is over. Atomic officials have announced that both versions
of the new AtomicVision will begin shipping March 1.
The dive industry is already well aware of Atomic’s
reputation for innovation and product quality. The AtomicVision
line builds on those important elements in a major way.
There are two different AtomicVision models – the
Sub-Frame and the Frameless. Both feature the impressive
new ULTRACLEAR lenses, the next standard in mask lens quality.
ULTRACLEAR lenses are made exclusively for Atomic Aquatics
by one of the highest quality glass companies in the world.
This higher quality glass is free from impurities and delivers
a much clearer field of vision. Divers will be able to
literally see the difference when diving with an AtomicVision
mask.
The Atomic Sub-Frame model is likely the strongest mask
ever offered to the dive industry. The dual-lens design
is built around a super strong engineering grade thermoplastic
frame. A 316 stainless steel support adds more durability
and even an element of style to the Sub-Frame. Most importantly,
the frame is built to withstand even high-impact trauma
without breaking.
Atomic engineers are so confident in the durability of
the Sub-Frame that Atomic is offering a LIFETIME WARRANTY
against frame breakage.
“Masks frequently get broken in transit for a variety
of reasons. This often causes frustration and disappointment
for divers arriving at the dive destination,” says
Dean Garraffa of Atomic Aquatics. “This new Patent
pending design virtually eliminates frame breakage and
we’re willing to stand behind the Sub-Frame with
a LIFETIME warranty. One of the ongoing strength tests
we’re conducting is suspending an 80 cubic foot Aluminum
cylinder from the center of the mask at one end, and the
strap connection points at the other end. Literally, we
are attempting to pull the mask apart. The mask has been
holding the suspended tank in the air for weeks. We’re
very confident in the quality and strength of this revolutionary
new mask said Garraffa.
The Sub-Frame is built to allow for special corrective
lenses that will be available through Atomic Aquatics dealers.
The precision-ground diopter lenses are between 1.5 and
8.0 in .5 “minus” diopter increments. The lenses
are easy to install or can be ordered from the factory
for a nominal additional charge.
Along with the Sub-Frame, Atomic Aquatics is also now shipping
the Frameless model. Built for simplicity and comfort,
the Frameless is a one-piece lens that was exclusively
designed using modern CAD design technology to maximize
upward, downward and side-to-side vision.
Naturally, both AtomicVision masks offer an element of
style consistent with Atomic’s Award winning design
of other products. Both models are available with an ultra-comfortable
clear or black skirt. Accent color options include red,
blue, yellow or black – the perfect complement to
Atomic’s award-winning SplitFin line.
The Sub-Frame mask has a suggested retail price of $99.00
and the Frameless has a suggested retail price of $89.00.
