Atomic Aquatics Product Shares Spotlight As Best Overall
Fin by Rodale’s ScubaLab
Huntington Beach, Calif. – The new "Liquid Blue" SplitFin
from Atomic Aquatics combines the patented design concepts
divers have come to expect from Atomic Aquatics with a
new material that not only enhances performance, but also
adds a new and creative sense of style to the Atomic Aquatics
scuba fin line.
The Liquid Blue SplitFin is made from a soft high-performance
thermoplastic rubber material. This unique translucent
blue material enables divers to experience the same performance
as the standard Atomic Aquatics SplitFins while requiring
less physical effort. The Liquid Blue model has recently
been named one of the year’s best overall fins by
Rodale’s Scuba Diving magazine.
Like the overwhelmingly popular Atomic Aquatics SplitFin,
the Liquid Blue model features an extended Power Rail that
helps combines the features of a longer blade fin and the
innovative performance split fin designs deliver. Flex
Battens built into the fin blades allow the user to achieve
consistently strong performance by optimizing thrust and
reducing drag.
"We designed the Liquid Blue SplitFins in direct response
to requests from our retailers," explains Dean Garraffa
of Atomic Aquatics. "The softer thermoplastic material
enables divers to achieve optimal results without any added
effort. The translucent blue look of the fins will be highly
popular with divers seeking something new and different
in the look of their equipment."
The multiple patented features of Atomic Aquatics’ SplitFin
line, including the EZ-LOK fin strap and the anatomically
correct foot pocket, have made Atomic Aquatics SplitFins
the top choice of divers wanting the best in diving products.
The SplitFin continually receives accolades from the dive
media and professional trade.
The July issue of Rodale’s Scuba Diving Magazine
featured the Liquid Blue SplitFin at the top of its annual
test of scuba fins. Among more than a dozen different fins
from multiple manufacturers, both Atomic Aquatics SplitFin
models received "Tester’s Choice" ratings
and near-perfect ratings by divers doing the testing. The
magazine writes, "The Liquid Blue provides acceleration
when it’s time to go turbo, but is also very responsive.
The Liquid Blue is just as stable as the original SplitFin,
and shares the same excellent buckle system."
Available from Atomic Aquatics dealers nationwide on July
21, the Atomic Aquatics Aquatics Liquid Blue SplitFin has
a suggested retail price of $198. Like all Atomic Aquatics
products, the Liquid Blue has an exceptional one-year warranty.
