Atomic Aquatics does not allow the sale of, nor does it warrant any products purchased via mail order or Internet. Do you sell in Europe?

Yes, we now have distribution in Germany, Italy, Russia, and are adding additional countries. Check the Find Dealer section for more details.

Is there a difference in performance between the T1, B1 or Z1?

The performance is the same for all three regulators.

What do I do for service if I am away from home and not close to my local dealer?

The first step is to check our dealer list on this website or call us directly at (714) 375-1433 to see if there is a dealer in your area. If not, you can always send the regulator directly to us. These regulators were specifically designed to be reliable and reduce the possibility difficulties during a dive trip.

Why Titanium over Brass?

Titanium is a metal that cannot corrode; whereas the Brass (with Chrome Plating) is resistant to corrosion, but both the plating and base material can corrode if exposed to salt water. The Titanium is also half the weight of Brass.

Can I use your 1st Stage or 2nd Stage with other regulator systems?

Yes, as long as the regulators operate at 125-145 PSI, which the most do.

Does Atomic Aquatics sell an octopus?

We have two octo's available: the T2 (Titanium), and the Z1 Second Stage, both with 36" hoses and yellow front covers. They retail for $350.00 and $250.00 respectively.

What colors do the T1, B1, and Z1 come with?

The T1, and B1 both have a dark gray second stage cover.  The Z1 is available with Gray or Bright Blue. Other color kits are available for a nominal charge from your dealer.

Do all models have the same warranty and service interval?

All of the models do have the same warranty, however they differ in their service interval. The T1, and B1 have a 2-Year-300 dive service interval, where as the Z1 is a 1-year service interval. We also recommend a safety check by the dealer once a year for all models to check for any obvious problems.

What if I forget to have my regulator serviced at the one or two year interval? Do I lose my warranty?

No, your warranty is valid as long as you own your regulator.

Can I e-mail my warranty information to Atomic Aquatics?

Yes. We keep all of warranty cards on file, whether sent in by regular or electronic mail. See the on-line registration section of our website.

If I purchase a used Atomic Aquatics regulator can I get the warranty transferred to me or can I purchase a new warranty.

No, the warranty is non-transferable, and only the original owner is eligible for a lifetime warranty.

Can I purchase an ATOMIC AQUATICS regulator with a "Din" fitting?

Any of the regulators may be purchased with either a yoke or a 300 Bar DIN fitting.

I have an Atomic Aquatics yoke regulator now, can it be converted to DIN?

Yes, but it requires professional disassembly and a change of parts. You can order a parts conversion kit from your dealer that will allow him to change the regulator from yoke to DIN. It is a semi-permanent conversion that is it is not something you can change yourself.

What about adapters to change between DIN and yoke.

If you have a DIN regulator, you can purchase a spin-on adapter that will allow you to use your DIN regulator on a yoke tank valve. You cannot use an adapter to go from yoke to DIN however.

What about Nitrox?

All of our regulators are factory cleaned and tested with oxygen compatible air. They are built with oxygen compatible components and lubricants where necessary, and as a system, are ready to use with EAN Nitrox to a maximum concentration of 40% oxygen up to 3500 PSI. Our M1 is designed for use up to 50% oxygen with no special cleaning and up to 80% maintained clean and dedicated to oxygen/oxygen compatible air service.

Can I switch back and forth between air and Nitrox?

No, we do not recommend it. There are different cleaning and purity standards for air and Nitrox. Using standard compressed air with your regulator could introduce dirt or hydrocarbon contaminants into your regulator that could possibly initiate an ignition (fire) in your system. Oxygen enriched mixes can be highly combustible under the right conditions. It is always better to be safe then sorry.
