Cobalt Guide: Simulator: Edit Gas Switch Alert

SIM Gas Switch Alert Edit is where alerts can be set that enable gas switching in the simulator.

Gas switches in the simulator are made automatically when the automatic path to surface option (BACK button and selecting the SAVE option) is used.

Gas switching can be initiated at any time in a dive by pressing the UP button to display a list of available mixes.

Pressing SELECT when the Selected Mix field is highlighted will activate a pop-up submenu showing all currently defined mixes. A mix must first be defined in the Edit Gas Mix screen before a switch alert may be set.
The Switch Depth can be edited by pressing SELECT to enter this field. The maximum operating depth displayed is based on the PO2 alert value set in the Edit Gas Mix screen.
You must specify if the alert is to activate on Descent or Ascent.

Changing the SIM Gas Switch Alerts affects only the simulator, and does not change the settings for actual dives.
