Cobalt Guide: The Dive Screen

The Cobalt Dive Screen is organized into three sections.

The top section contains calculated values related to time and decompression information, including a graphic saturation indicator at the top of the screen.

The center section contains current dive information, including an ascent rate indicator at the right edge.

The bottom section contains information related to gas mixtures and air pressure.

The saturation indicator at the top of the screen changes from green to yellow to red as saturation increases. When the first red/orange dots appear, you may see an indicator requiring Deep Stops, even though there is still no-decompression time remaining.

The Ascent Rate indicator (right center here) will sound and flash a SLOW! alert if a too rapid ascent rate continues for more than 10 seconds.

This screen also illustrates diving with EAN (Nitrox). The selected gas (here EAN 32%) is shown above the pressure. When diving with EAN the current PO2 (partial pressure of O2) is shown below the gas time.
